Abstract

In the construction sector, the well-being and care of occupational health and safety (OHS) are vital for the development of activities and processes of any organization. Preventing accidents, incidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses improves the work environment and the performance of workers. The company SERVICONCRE S.A operates in this sector, specifically dedicated to rental, maintenance, repair, and manufacturing of machinery and construction materials, as well as other related services. This study aimed to propose an occupational safety plan based on the guidelines of ISO 45001:2018, identifying, evaluating, and categorizing risks in the development of activities and processes in different areas of the company. This led to proposing an OHS program, indicators, assigning roles and responsibilities, as well as processes (internal audit) to evaluate performance through mechanisms for monitoring, measurement, and evaluation of performance regarding findings, root cause analysis, and verification of proposed preventive and corrective measures. This is intended to help ensure and continuously improve OHS conditions and care for the well-being of workers and collaborators of the company.
