Nuevas tendencias de alojamiento: caso de estudio Glamping en la finca Campestre Magic Paradise, cantón Lago Agrio, provincia Sucumbíos

Tourism is an activity that involves the movement of people to different destinations for the purpose of recreation, leisure, culture or business. In the tourism sector, lodging tends to innovate continuously, as is the particular case of glamping, which globally emerged from a combination of convenience, comfort, camping, and nature. For the development of the research, a situational diagnosis was carried out on the tourist demand of the Glamping venture in the Magic Paradise Country Farm in 2023; the current and potential demand of the venture was determined as of December 2024; and subsequently, systemic and participative actions were proposed to improve the services offered in the place. The descriptive methodology was applied to describe the demographic characteristics of the guests and their preferences, while the exploratory methodology contributed to analyze the factors that influence customer satisfaction, best management practices and new trends. The study universe was determined by the occupancy capacity of the establishment during the year 2023 (300 guests). Using non-probabilistic convenience sampling, 70 guests were considered as the reason for the study. In effect, a potential demand of 380 guests as of December 2024 was determined. Systemic and participatory actions were proposed to enhance the development of the Glamping venture at the Finca Campestre.
